Growing up in Northwest Indiana, Carli grew to love drawing as a kid as she drew on everything and walls! After she graduated from high school she migrated five hours south to the University of Southern Indiana to study for a Bachelors in Graphic Design & Illustration and a minor in Marketing.

Carli loves to work with watercolors and has a passion for the colors orange & blue as they are in a staple in her illustrations. She has a 3 year old, rescue Golden Retriever named Maple. Many of her past dogs are seen in her illustrations as inspiration and motivation to achieve her dreams of becoming a children’s book illustrator.
